How ToolStack handles account data, tool activity, browser storage, and locally processed inputs.
Last updated: 9 August 2026
Information we collect
- Account information you provide, such as your name and email address.
- Security records needed for authentication, including a one-way password hash and hashed session tokens.
- A tool-open event containing the tool slug and time. If you are signed in, that event is associated with your account.
- Messages and contact details you voluntarily send to our support address.
Tool inputs and files
Calculator values, text, developer data, tokens, and images are processed in your browser whenever the tool supports local processing. We do not store those inputs in PostgreSQL. Image tools and browser AI models operate locally unless a tool clearly states otherwise before use.
How we use information
- Provide and secure accounts and sessions.
- Show your account activity and identify which services are used most.
- Operate, troubleshoot, improve, and protect the website.
- Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.
Cookies and device storage
We use an HTTP-only session cookie when you sign in. The language selector stores your language preference in a cookie and local storage. These are used for authentication and user-requested preferences, not cross-site advertising.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell tool inputs or account information. Information may be handled by infrastructure providers that host the application or database, or disclosed when required to comply with law, protect users, or defend the service.
Retention and security
We keep account and activity information for as long as needed to operate the account, maintain security, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. We use password hashing, opaque sessions, role checks, and restricted database access, but no online service can promise absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of account information by contacting us. Applicable law may provide additional rights or exceptions. You can remove the saved language preference through browser storage settings and end an authenticated session by signing out.
Children and policy changes
ToolStack is a general-audience productivity service and is not directed to children. We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change; the revised date will appear on this page.
